V1DroneMedia is a commercial aerial video production company, drone education, and drone services provider based in Cleveland, Ohio. Our national airspace and FAA regulations expertise, drone flight skills, and keen eye for amazing aerial cinematography are unmatched in the Cleveland area. We are legally certified to fly drones with FAA Part 107 license and are fully insured to provide drone services commercially. V1DroneMedia was founded by commercial airline pilot Jason Damman and marketing executive Anna Yelkina-Damman.
The founder and Chief Pilot of V1DroneMedia, Jason Damman, is a highly trained commercial Airline Pilot with over 20 years and 15,000 + hours of flight time experience working in the airline industry. Jason got started in aviation by flying radio-controlled (RC) aircraft as a teenager in Northwest Ohio, picked up a drone in 2015, and has flown 500+ hours of commercial drone missions since then. Besides holding private and transport aviation certificates, Jason is a Certified FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot, a Certified Flight Instructor, and a member of the Cleveland FAASTeam. He is also a trained electrical engineer, self-taught cinematographer/photographer, and was a DJ in Cleveland in the 2000s, which all allow him to fly drones, manage drone operations, and shoot and fully produce amazing videos!

If Jason is not on a drone job, you may find him teaching individuals, organizations, and first responders at V1DroneMedia Drone Training Classes and at a local college, performing drone work around Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and other states shooting drone photos and video for our clients or educating the public, government, and commercial organizations on all things drones through the Cleveland FAASTeam or North Coast Drone Alliance (NORCODA), which we helped to found.
V1DroneMedia’s owner and marketing and business development director, Anna Yelkina-Damman, is a marketer with 20 years of experience in small and large organizations. Prior to joining V1DroneMedia, she worked in product management, marketing communications, and merchandising. She developed marketing strategies, developed and launched commercially successful consumer products with US retailers, and managed major CPG brands’ marketing communications. Anna holds undergraduate (University of Toledo) and MBA (Case Western Reserve University) degrees in Marketing and International Business. Anna and Jason have 2 young kids and a Boston Terrier named Milo who occupy most of their time when they are not managing their drone business.
